Looking out of the window, there’s no denying we’re still in the grips of Winter, but we’re looking forward to a new year full of more Pembrokeshire Lottery loan recipients and winners!
As usual, our Investment Panel members have been busy with new applications for interest free loans and we’re grateful for their time and expertise. The total amount loaned out to Pembrokeshire businesses now exceeds £7.4 million and reflects the hard work of our Investment Panel.
Of course, none of this would be possible without you, our players. Your £1 a week is not only helping create more jobs in Pembrokeshire, it’s also giving you the chance to win £2,000 in the weekly draw and £4,000 £8,000 or even £10,000 in the monthly Superdraws!
Someone wins EVERY week with the Pembrokeshire Lottery!
With every player having their own unique lottery number, there’s a guaranteed winner every week. Here’s just a few of our most recent £2,000 winners.
August saw a win for Louise McCallan from Milford Haven. Louise works for Hywyl Dda Health Board and plays through their salary deduction scheme.
Peter Lawrence from Pembroke was a winner in September. He was so surprised to receive the winners phone call and planned to do some home improvements with his winnings.
November was a lucky month for Elisha Morris from Neyland.
December saw a win for Jane Davies from Pembroke Dock. When we met Mr and Mrs Davies, they told us their win meant that long awaited work on their home could go ahead.
Another winner in December was Jeff Teague from Pembroke. With a win this close to Christmas, extra treats were guaranteed!
Our final winner of 2021 was Guy Woodham from Milford Haven. He’d supported us for a long time, so his win was a perfect way to end the year.
£8,000 Autumn Superdraw
Our Autumn Superdraw was held on Wednesday 1st September and the lucky winner was Claire Lawrence from Haverfordwest. Claire works for the Port of Milford Haven and plays through the salary deduction scheme they kindly run for us. We announced Claire’s name on our weekly slot on 102.5 Radio Pembrokeshire and called her as soon as we came off the air to break the happy news. She was still in shock when she came to collect her winners’ cheque the following day, but said the first thing on her wish list was treats for the whole family.
£10,000 Christmas Superdraw
After Stephanie’s name was announced on 102.5 Radio Pembrokeshire, we made contact with her and presented the winning cheque the following day at her business, Siop Sian in Crymych. When asked what she planned to spend her winnings on, Mrs Phillips said that she and her husband had yet to go on honeymoon following their wedding a few years ago, so they would be planning a trip to remember.
Dates for you diary…
Someone wins £2,000 EVERY week with the Pembrokeshire Lottery, but on the first Wednesday of every month, the usual weekly prize increases when we hold a Superdraw. The March Superdraw will be next, with a fantastic prize of £8,000.

It seems that more and more of our players, new and old, are doubling up their chances by taking a second lottery number. Your lottery pounds go into our loan fund. Local businesses can apply for interest free loans from this fund, which helps create more jobs in Pembrokeshire. Here’s just a few of our recent loan recipients.
Llaeth Deri Milk
A word from Glyn, Mair, Teleri and Rhodri Vaughan of Llaeth Deri Milk, Boncath. “We have been super exited to open our Milk Vending machine & Milkshakes. It’s been a long time in the process, ten months to be exact. We are a family run dairy farm in North Pembrokeshire, milking 130 Frisian dairy cows. Keen to add extra income and having seen these machines at several shows over the last few years, it was natural choice for us. Situated on a busy road with plenty of passing traffic and cyclists we are very thankful to everybody that’s popped in and shown an interest in what we do. We must thank the Pembrokeshire Lottery for having faith in us and for being so helpful, through the process. If you are ever up this way, pop in for Fresh Milk or a tasty Milkshake. A warm welcome awaits you.”
Hwb Narberth
Hwb Tap & Food Hall opened December 2021 in the heart of Narberth. With four open kitchens serving a wide range of street food treats and a bar including 18 beer taps serving the best of local and independent drinks.
Celtic Deep.
Owner Richard Rees says “Celtic Deep is an offshore wildlife experience based out of Dale in Pembrokeshire. We run wild snorkelling adventures with a conservation focus. Our clients are given the opportunity to safely swim with epic marine wildlife like seals, seabirds and sharks. Thanks to Pembrokeshire Lottery, we’ve been able to invest in the equipment needed to give our clients the best possible experience and open up our nearshore adventures to families.”

SC Skin Care is opening 8th February at the former Seraphim Aesthetics premises in Haverfordwest. Owner Sarah Collins said “We’re very excited to be getting ready to welcome our clients & would like to thank the Pembrokeshire Lottery for their support”
