The Pembrokeshire Lottery is celebrating it’s 25th Birthday year, so to celebrate and thank all our players for their support over the years, we’re holding two extra Birthday Treat draws every month throughout 2018. There’s some wonderful prizes up for grabs and don’t forget the Big Birthday Draw in November when one lucky player will win a FIAT 500!
Here’s some of our lucky Birthday Treat winners so far!
January’s winners
£250 worth of goods and services from Healthaspire Nutrition Centre in Milford Haven went to Donna Thompson from Milford Haven and a Pembrokeshire landscape canvas from Pembrokeshire Photography went to Valerie Proctor from Saundersfoot.
February’s winners
Sandra Davies from Caerphilly won an overnight stay at the Giltar Hotel in Tenby and the Pembrokeshire landscape canvas from Pembrokeshire Photography went to Thea Davies from Crymych.
March’s winners
The lucky winner who enjoyed a VIP family experience at the Wickedly Welsh Chocolate Company was Tracey Toombs from Milford Haven and Delyth Simpson from Roch was the lucky winner for the Pembrokeshire landscape canvas from Pembrokeshire Photography.
April’s winners
Up for grabs in April was another lovely canvas, which went to Margaret Rodrigues from Milford Haven and a whopping £500 voucher for Vaughans Radio was won by Brian Wharton from Lamphey.
May’s winners
The Pembrokeshire landscape canvas went to Mr Martin Davies from Milford Haven and Mrs Susan Phillips from New Hedges won a £300 voucher plus afternoon tea for 2 at Vincent Davies, Haverfordwest.
Another Superdraw winner joins the club!
The £8,000 Spring Superdraw was held on 7th March and the lucky winner was Kerry Impey from Narberth with lottery number 42421. The draw was aired on Radio Pembrokeshire and presenter Jay Curtis phoned Kerry on air to break the happy news. Kerry received her cheque later that day and said the first thing she planned to treat herself to with her winnings was an appointment at the hairdressers and a little shopping with her daughter Alicia, who had celebrated her birthday the day before.

Here’s just a few of the businesses who have received interest free funding from the Pembrokeshire Lottery recently.
Runwayskiln
Runwayskiln recently opened with loan assistance from the Pembrokeshire Lottery, reviving traditional Pembrokeshire farm buildings to create a brand-new food and accommodation business within sight and sound of Marloes Sands. The beautiful coastal retreat is a vibrant hub offering great food for visitors to Marloes Sands in the Runwayskiln Café as well as accommodation in the heart of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park.
Ivy Bridge Spa
Financial support from The Pembrokeshire Lottery has made my dream come true. Having worked at The Ivybridge Spa for many years and having made an emotional attachment to it; when the opportunity arose to purchase the business, I couldn’t jump at the chance quickly enough! I feel safe knowing my business was looked at carefully when I made an application for funding – when I got the call my application was successful, this was confirmation for me that it was going to continue to succeed. I would like to thank the team there for all your help.
I have already and will continue to support student placements from Pembrokeshire College and other local training providers. We are pleased to show students that a career in this industry can be fruitful and very rewarding.
Surrounded by a picturesque setting of the Goodwick Moor, The Ivybridge Spa is a relaxation centre where local residents, guests of the nearby hotels, as well as visitors from afar, can experience some leisure time. Patrons can browse through a wide selection of holistic, wellbeing and beauty treatments and choose to undergo a wide range of massages, mud and salt therapy body treatments, facials or body scrubs or, spend their time with a very reasonable private hire of the Spa area using the sauna, steam room, twin heated lounger or Jacuzzi.
My team of massage therapists and professional beauticians also offer aesthetic services like manicures, pedicures; waxing and spray tanning, alongside a range of pamper packages with a mix of therapies for optimal repose.
Mamgu
MamGu Welshcakes say “MamGu Welshcakes were lucky enough to secure a Pembrokeshire Lottery Loan for their brand-new business in Solva. The new premises, which has a stunning welsh inspired coffee shop at the front, now delivers Welshcakes all around Pembrokeshire. MamGu Welshcakes have created 8 new jobs and Thea Noble and Becky Hood are thrilled with the support that they have received from Pembrokeshire Lottery in the beginning of their exciting new venture. Make sure you pop in to sample some of the exciting flavoured welshcakes or tasty welsh dishes.”
Paddle West
Paddle West started trading on the 30th March. We aim to provide “Little Boating Adventures” to the people of Pembrokeshire and tourists alike at prices that won’t break the bank. In Haverfordwest we hire canoes to explore the Western Cleddau to the north of the town and in Pembroke we have row boats for people to enjoy boating round the castle. We are currently employing 6 people to run the two hire sites and have started to take group bookings for evening activities. We are also open to the public for after work boating. Funding from the Pembrokeshire Lottery made a huge difference to our large initial investment in kit. It allowed us to purchase the good looking and well- made fleet that we put out on the water daily.
